Back to nature park Barnim this weekend! This time the plan was a hike starting at Borgsdorf along the river Briese with an extended forest bathing session in between. The late February weather was cold and crisp (just under 0°C) but also very sunny with bright blue skies. Join us on a tranquil tour through this wintery idyll just north of Berlin!

Early morning just off the gates of Borgsdorf. The frozen marshlands are sending their greetings.
This area seems to get flooded regularly.
A beautiful huge pine tree next to the trail.
Time for a break at this awesome creek. Getting warmed by the winter sun.
What a peaceful area. Getaways like these are hidden all around Berlin.
Sound on for instant relaxation!
Found a great spot for some advanced Shinrin-Yoku. Pictured: Winter forest-bathing gear.
Time to cozy up with some nice hot tea.
Serenity.
Back on the trail, these trees were almost glowing.
Last part of the tour was characterized by open land, a welcome change.

Nature Park Barnim really does not stop to impress. This tour was on the calmer side and will be remembered by its serene late-winter atmosphere. Already planning more tours to discover this huge paradise. Check back for more!
