For a quick Sunday-hike through Schorfheide this weekend we chose Templin as a starting point. Along the Lübbe lake towards Ringenwalde our tour brought us through huge pine forests and some beautiful meadows. It was rather windy which added to the landscape’s special character.

A small forest creek – nice to look at but also preferred by mosquitos.
Time for a picnic at this lovely meadow.
Over there we saw a group of deer coming through.
A small detour through deeper forest brought us to this intersting area which seemed to have been flooded before.
Some Brandenburg postcard vistas.
The last half of the tour brought us along the nature reserve Ringenwalde with its wide ranging mixed forests.

A nice tour for forest enthusiasts – we will continue to explore.
